His ordeal lasted 32 days while his family waited anxiously for any news or information on his well being.

We had some of the country’s worst floods ever last October/November and the South East didn’t escape the destruction left by water damage following the torrential rain.

Beat News Editor Gail Conway spoke to businesses in Waterford and Clonmel.

Waterford traditionally used to have a serious problem on the quays however this has been resolved – but Clonmel is still a long way off having it’s flooding issues sorted, an issue some businesses think will never be resolved.
